Description

Join me for a Ski Tour on one of the many peaks near Zermatt in the Swiss Alps.

What makes this trip so amazing is the array of options it gives you. Every option has its own Unique Characteristics and will give you Unique Memories as a result. Whatever you hope to gain on a ski tour in the Alps, I can offer options that will definitely leave you satisfied. Whether you are looking for something challenging that requires experience or something easy that doesn’t require any. Or you want to take a Ski Tour on a Glacier or be able to see the famed Matterhorn. Whatever you are looking for, there is a tour for you.

The list of ski tours offered includes:

  1. An introduction Ski Tour to Schwarztor (3,730m), a classic glacier tour.
  2. Traversata (3,492m), a combination between Ski Touring and Fixed Rope Trail.
  3. Pfulwe (3,155m), a perfect Tour for Beginners.
  4. Furggjoch (3,271m), the ideal tour for people who love Spring Snow Slopes.
  5. Trjiftisattel (3,250m) a tour where you traverse no less than 4 Glaciers.

 

And if none of those tours fits exactly what you want, or you want to go for a tour in a different area, you can contact me and we will figure something out. Because in Zermatt, with the help of the gorgeous Swiss Alps, there is something for everybody.

-- The price of the Schwarztor tour is 550 CHF for 1 or 2 people. The walk time is 1 and a half hours. The ascent is 100m, and the descent is 1,860m.

-- The price of the Traversata tour is 550 CHF for 1 or 2 people. The walk time is between 2 and a half to 3 hours. The ascent is 250m and the descent is 1440m.

-- The price of the Pfulwe tour is 550 CHF for 1 or 2 people. The walk time is 2 hours. The ascent is 555m, and the descent is 1,715m.

-- The price of the Furggjoch tour is 550 CHF for 1 or 2 people. The walk time is 2 hours. The ascent is 510m, and the descent is 1,265m.

-- The price of the Trjiftisattel tour is 550 CHF for 1 or 2 people. The walk time is 1 and a half hours. The ascent is 310m, and the descent is 1,380m.

-- The price for the Aebihorn tour is 690 CHF for 1 or 2 people. The walk time is 4 and a half hours. Ascent is 1,300m and descent is 1,300m.

-- For each trip, there is a fee of 40 CHF for each additional person that will be charged up to a maximum of 6 people, except for the Trjiftisattel tour which only goes to a maximum of 4 people.

Compulsory Equipment includes, Rucksack, 30 litre with ski fixing system, Strap to tie the skies together, skis with touring bindings*, Skins*, Ski crampons*, Ski poles and spare basket*, Lightweight Shovel*, Probes*, transceiver with new batteries 457mHz*, Touring trousers, Waterproof, breathable jacket with hood, fleece jacket or jumper, Gloves, shirt, Ski socks, Warm hut, Sun glasses with side protection, Sun Screen factor >25, Lip balm factor >15, Flask or water bottle about 1 litre, no camel bag. Additional equipment for tours with glacier includes Harness* and Sling (120cm). Additional equipment for Traversata includes, Harness set for fixed rope routes and crampons with front points*. All items with a * can be rented. Remember to pack just what you need, as you will need to carry everything with you.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy.
