Join me on a multi-pitch climbing adventure in the rocky region of Catalonia, in Spain. This spot offers several rock-climbing possibilities to make the best of the sun during the winter days, also shade and higher altitude during summer. I will happily guide you!
Depending on the season you will have the opportunity to climb on different types of rock: conglomerate, limestone and granite. I will choose the routes that adapt to your climbing level and skills. There is a huge variety: bolted or trad routes, vertical, low angle, dihedrals, cracks… from 2 pitches to more than 10 pitches. Some of the most famous spots include Alt Urgell, Montsec Range, Montserrat Mountain, Pedraforca and Pyrenees.
The routes in this region vary greatly, this means that regardless of your experience, there is a perfect place for you. Therefore, I will plan the itinerary depending on your level to ensure you enjoy a stunning climbing trip. The price of the trip may vary depending on the route.
I propose you a 4-day trip starting in Montserrat and driving everyday after climbing to the next destination. You can check it below. There is also the possibility to spend one or more days single pitch climbing. Also feel free to ask for a shorter or longer trip
So, are you ready for a fun rock-climbing excursion in Catalonia? Then book your trip now and get ready for a beautiful adventure in the Pyrenees!
Otherwise, if you are looking for more options in the area, I also offer via ferrata trips near Barcelona and multi-pitch climbing trips in the Ordessa Valley.

AEGM Rock Climbing Guide
Ever since I was a kid I have been in contact with nature, and this has been my environment. Family traditions led to my first steps in the hiking world. I discovered wonderful places and learned to enjoy and respect the mountains. Still vivid in my memories are the ascents around Ordesa NP and the Catalan Pyrenees during my childhood.
At the age of eighteen I took my first steps in rock climbing. I dedicated some years climbing traditional classic routes, with the Montsec range as my school. With the experience gained I widened my horizons and started discovering new walls: Ordesa, Puig Campana, Penyal d'Ifach, Los Mallos de Riglos, Montrebei, Terradets...
In 2000, I got my Civil Engineer degree. I then spent my holidays climbing. At this point I started exploring the big possibilities France and its walls opened up: Verdon, Vercors, Jonte...
In 2002 I went on a one-year trip to Australia, but without climbing. After that year I realized rock climbing was my real passion. At then started spending as much time as I had climbing. My climbing trips starting taking me further and further. It was in Switzerland where I discovered my favorite climbing terrain: the amazing limestone walls of Wendenstöcke, Rätikon, Sanetsch... After that, new destinations kept coming: UEA, Jordan, Morocco, Dolomites, Sardinia, Corsica...
Finally, I decided to become a Climbing Guide and offer all my climbing experience to you.
My formal training started in 2011, as I became a Climbing Monitor of the High Mountain Catalan Academy (ECAM). Just after that, in 2012, I got my Climbing Sport Technician degree.
Not satisfied with that, I continued my training to get the highest climbing degree available in Spain. In the spring of 2014 I finished my training and became a Climbing Superior Sport Technician.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
