Description

I invite you to join me on a 2-day women-only mountaineering course in La Grave, a great opportunity to learn and improve your progression techniques on glacier and rock in a supportive environment.

I am an IFMGA-certified woman guide, passionate about mountains, and looking to share this passion with other adventurous women. During this weekend, you will take your mountaineering skills a step further, learning basic techniques and getting useful tips for a safe and enjoyable experience in the mountains.

This weekend course takes place in La Grave, a famous village and ski resort located at the foot of the La Meije, in the Hautes-Alpes department in southeastern France. You will experience the thrill of climbing on glaciers in the beautiful mountains around La Grave, as they will be our classroom for these 2 days.

We will go over the basic mountaineering skills, improving your progression technique on glacier and on rock. We will learn about crevasse rescue on the glacier and you will also learn how to place protection points, like friends and pitons, when climbing on rock.

After spending a day out in the mountain, learning and putting our skills into practice, we may spend a night in a mountain refuge. On the next morning, we might enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the mountains, and continue with our course. Otherwise, we could stay in a hostel in the village of La Grave.

Women-only courses are a truly empowering and enriching experience, the perfect environment for you to challenge yourself while building your confidence in climbing. We will have a blast on an unforgettable adventure!

The price includes the guiding fee. Based on the program, there might have additional costs like half-board in the refuge, transfers, lifts, etc. which will need to be covered by the participants.

I am a certified IFMGA Mountain Guide, ski instructor trainee and a Police Mountain Rescuer "CRS Montagne".

I’m based in the Chamonix valley and have had the chance to travel all around the world: India, Pakistan, China, Yosemite, Antarctica and Canada, among others.

I particularly enjoy rock climbing, introducing women to alpine environments and the diversity of the activities in which I’m involved in. I love sharing my passion, inspiring others to believe in themselves in order to move on and go further.
