Description

Located near the city of Pucon, the Villarica volcano (2,860m) in the Andes of Chile is one of the country’s most active volcanoes. And on this full day trip, one of our experienced, professional guides would like to guide you to the top of this great peak.

One of the best climbing experiences in Chile, scaling the amazing Villarica volcano is a fantastic opportunity. The views throughout the climb are incredible. However, the highlight has to be the summit. Consisting of an open crater with bubbling lava boiling within, the top of the volcano is definitely one of the most unique sites you will ever see.

A definite highlight of the Andes, the fact you can climb Villarica in just a single day makes this trip even more enticing. And while climbing any peak can be taxing, this ascent is not restricted just for experts. However, participants should be in good physical condition, and have some prior mountaineering experience.
