1-day trip to Bethaz-Bovard, the longest via ferrata in the Val d'Aoste, in northwestern Italy, together with one of the IFMGA-certified guides in the Peakshunter team.

Description

The Via ferrata Bethaz-Bovard is the longest of Val d'Aoste, in Northeastern Italy. In fact, it has over 1000 meters long and it's divided in four sections.

For this 1-day trip, we'll leave early in the morning. I recommend months from June to September as the best time of the year to visit Bethaz-Bovard.

The whole climb will take between 4 and 5 hours. We will reach the summit at 2603 m.

During the way you'll also enjoy some marvelous landscapes on the Valgrisenche region.

Then, there are several routes possible for our descent:

Bethaz (2-3 hours)
Lac Morion (2 hours)
Refuge Angeli (3 hours)

It is also possible to go to the Refuge Scavarda via the slopes of the Rutor.

This is a fantastic and safe activity that you will absolutely enjoy. In addition, you will access to splendid views.
