I have the pleasure to offer different hiking tours with several departures per week and all year round in Verdon! All these options are suitable for beginners as well as advanced hikers. So, let me tell you more about these amazing trails.

The Verdon Natural Park is an exceptional natural area located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. It is an amazing hiking place lying between Var and the Alpes de Haute Provence.

Among the most interesting spots of the natural park you’ll find the millenary and impressive Verdon Gorges. In addition, you will also enjoy the emerald waters of the Lake of Sainte Croix and the Lake of Esparron. Of course I cannot forget to mention the beautiful local villages located high on the cliffs of Provence.

As you can imagine, during this hiking tour in Verdon you and your group will witness the most native fauna and flora of the Mediterranean lands. Discover vultures and bobcats as well as many geologic curiosities from the Sainte Croix Lake up to Moustiers Sainte Marie.

Hike to La Palud Sur Verdon

This hike consists in a walk to La Palud Sur Verdon, crossing between le Point Sublime and le Chalet de la Maline. You’ll find the wide geologic curiosities hidden in the heart of the Gorges du Verdon: raptors, caves and tunnels while we walk trough the impressive Brèche Imbert.

This option is accessible to anyone with a good physical condition. The walking time will be 6 hours with 300 meters of altitude gain.

Hike around the Verdon Valley

A perfect trail to do during the autumn in the Upper Verdon Valley. An exceptional geology ahead will surprise you. The colors of the autumn are still alive even at 1.800 meters of height. Besides that, the paths full of larches leads us to a wooden hut, where we can have lunch next to the heat of the fireplace. A remote place, away from everything but incredibly beautiful.

There will be 550 meters of positive altitude with a total waking time of 4 hours.

Hike on the Sainte Croix Lake

An easy and accessible hike from Moustiers Sainte Marie near the lake of Sainte Croix to discover the village and the beautiful olive groves. In addition, this tour also includes the visit to the Marie Madeleine Cave and Notre Dame de Beauvoir. After that, you will enjoy the best panoramic views of the hamlet of Courchon on the Lake of Sainte Croix as well as the Petit Lac, the Valensole Plateau and the Mont Ventoux.

The total hiking time for this tour is 3 hours with an elevation gain of 400 vertical meters.
