Description

Heliskiing in Valgrisenche, in the Aosta valley of the Italian Alps, is a fantastic winter activity. It is also an activity that has a lot of room for variety. For example, during our 1 day heliskiing trips, we offer a 1 flight option, a 3 flight option, and for the purpose of this trip, a 6 flight option.

The results from having the chance to experience more flights is simple: more flights means more skiing. To be more specific, it means more vertical metres from which you can ski. And on this 6 flight adventure, you will have upwards of 7,000 vertical metres! And trust me when I tell you that while 7 kilometres of powder to ski on might seem like a lot, perhaps even too much, the beautiful Valgrisenche area is more than capable of accommodating you.

During the ski season from which this trip takes place, the weather is perfect, as is the powder. The descents found throughout Valgrisenche are exciting. And the scenery is absolutely spectacular. Throughout the day, I have no doubt you will find yourself on countless occasions stopping just to admire the beauty of the Aosta valley, and the peaks of the surrounding Alps.

Participants in this trip should have some previous off-piste skiing experience. They should also be in good physical condition in order to prepare them for the 7,000 vertical metres at their disposal.

Valgrisenche within the Aosta valley in the Alps of Italy is a marvellous place for skiing. And on this trip, you will have 6 flights available to enjoy it. Thus giving you the chance to see and ski on a large portion of the area's fantastic powdered slopes. If you would like to experience this adventure, please send us a request.

The helicopter we will be using is a AS 350 Ecureuil B3.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
