Join me at the beautiful French commune of Val d’Isere in the Tarentaise Valley for a day of ski touring or off-piste skiing.
Val d’Isere is known for great skiing. It’s famous for it. And it has been famous for it for decades. So it’s only natural that people want to explore it. However, not everybody wants to stick to the normal routes. Some people want to tour beyond those routes. They want to ski in places where there are no tracks, no traces of past skiers. And that’s what makes this trip so special. Because this is a trip focused on ski touring for as far as you wish, and off-piste skiing that allows to ski off the beaten path.
There is so much to see in the Tarentaise Valley. And with the freedom this trip offers, from morning only, to half-day, to full-day options, you will get to see as much of it as you have the energy to explore. Besides Val d’Isere, you can also venture into Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne, La Rosiere, even Chamonix and La Grave. You can even cross into Switzerland and Italy, with the gorgeous snowy peaks of the Alps looming above, watching, greeting you quietly. While you take in the silence and peace.
Flexibility is the key to this trip. The option of where you ski, how you ski, and how long you ski is entirely up to you. If you only have a little skiing experience and want to expand your range. Or you are an expert who wants a quiet, open place to practice. If you are by yourself, or with your friends or family, this trip adapts to your needs, not the other way around.

- Price includes guiding fees and avalanche rescue pack (ABS, Prove, shovel and transceiver).
- The prices quoted are for the Out of School Holidays period. The prices during the school holidays for 3 days of guiding are as follow:
- 1800€ (+booking fee) for 14 guests
- 2100€ (+booking fee) for 56 guests

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much.
