Description

A very popular mountain in central Switzerland, Sustenhorn (3,504m) is a wonderful peak to climb. The views you will get from the mountain’s summit of the surrounding Swiss Alps are fantastic. Also, the climb itself is a lot of fun, and even includes a thrilling via ferrata, which you will get to enjoy!

A big reason why the Sustenhorn is so popular is it is one of the easier mountains in the Swiss Alps to climb. As a result, you do not have to be a expert climber to reach the summit of this great mountain. However, some prior experience is advantageous, and you should be in good physical condition.

There are different routes you can take to the mountain, and up to the summit. However, no matter which one you choose, you are in for a great climbing experience. There are also different mountain huts that you can spend the night in. Hence giving you a chance to not only get some much needed rest at the end of a day’s climb, but to get that rest on the mountain itself. It is a great experience sleeping in a mountain hut in the Swiss Alps, as the stars look stunning.
