Description

Come with me to ski through the best freeride areas of Tyrol during a week, with a maximum of 1 hour of ascent per day.

Today I come to propose you a guided freeride skiing tour oriented to find the most incredible powder runs while we ski from the Stubai glacier to Arlberg.

It is a program suitable for well-trained and experienced freeriders who are planning to come to Austria during the month of January. If you are one of them, then you can see a sample itinerary of this Stubai-Arlberg tour:

Sample day-by-day program

Day 1: Arrival in Innsbruck

Safety briefing and material check at the hotel, where we’ll also prepare ourselves solidly for an exciting freeride week.

Day 2: Freeride skiing in Stubai Glacier

The Stubai Glacier is one of the most outstanding freeride skiing spots of the area. I will show you the best powder runs to enjoy a really exciting day. After that we’ll move to the Amberger hut, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Freeriding in Sölden Ötztal

The area of Sölden offers many excellent opportunities to go off-piste skiing. The highlight of the day will be the 2000 meters of vertical drop running down to Pitztal.

Day 4: Pitzal Glacier freeriding day

Here you will enjoy the wild face of Pitztal, undoubtedly one of the most important freeride areas in Tyrol. Moreover, the Mittagskogel is waiting for you here!

Day 5: Kaunertal Glacier

The Kaunertal Glacier is probably the quietest corner of all the tour. With some short hikes, we can enjoy a restful day for our legs.

Day 6: Samnaun – Ischgl

The best runs in the Silvretta are here! We will spend the whole day in Ischgl and Samnaun with a final ski run down to Kappl.

Day 7: Kappl – Arlberg

Arrival at Arlberg. You can still see one amazing freeride spot after another in the largest off-piste area in all Tyrol. Here the program ends with a comfortable return to Innsbruck.

Day 8: Flight back home

An unforgettable week says goodbye behind us!

So if you find this freeride skiing tour interesting please fill out the form and contact me. It will be my pleasure to lead this experience in this amazing region of the Stubai Alps.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
