Description

Gain indispensible training in crevasse rescue from a day-long course on Mont Blanc! With the picturesque Alps as a backdrop you will improve your safety skills and take your mountaineering abilities to a new level!

The climbs on Mont Blanc and the surrounding Graian Alps offer routes and ascents for every level. From blossoming adventurers learning the ropes of an exciting new sport to seasoned veterans who live in the mountains, this world renowned destination has it all. This also means mountaineers should be ready for any situation, which includes strength in rescue training.

This course uses the Graian Alps and its most infamous peak as a tool to progress your skills as a climber and mountaineer. Over the course of a day, you will learn the techniques and approaches to crevasse rescue and practice such circumstances in a controlled environment.

Our program exposes you to the crucial aspects of mountain rescue. Your instruction will include practical demonstrations of how to build different haul systems. This skill is vital to crevasse rescue, and knowing how and when to apply the various systems will immensely increase your techincal skills.

We will also focus on demonstrating and constructing snow anchors. While an aptitude for climbing already incorporates certain techniques, it is always valuable to practice them in different environments.

Your training program features the demonstration of an arrested fall as well as a test on building a haul system. Both are meant to apply your training in practical situations. All incorporate necessary mountain rescue techniques that will enhance your climbing experiences in the future, as well as those of your fellow mountaineers.

This program takes place in the Graian Alps and includes many facets of mountaineering. You need to be in good shape and have some mountaineering experience for the course.

It is always my pleasure to inform other climbers and assist them in furthering their own careers. I am more than happy to provide a safe and satisfying course that prepares you for exciting new adventures!

Book this crevasse rescue course NOW and challenge yourself with the learning and application of new necessary skills!
