Description

Lining the border between Austria and Switzerland, the Silvretta Alps stretch far and proud.

Consisting of over 70 gorgeous peaks, the Silvretta Alps are an amazing collection of mountains. And I would like to help you traverse them on this 4 day splitboarding adventure.

The trip will begin and conclude in the Austrian ski village of Ischgl. Every day of this trip you will get to visit the summits of several of the range’s most majestic peaks. Below is a list of those peaks.

  • Zahnjoch (2,947m)

  • Grenzeckkhopf (3,048m)

  • Obere Ochsenscharte (2,980m)

  • Dreilanderspitze (3,197m)

  • Egghorn (3,147m)

  • Piz Buin (3,312m)

Each peak offers some fantastic and exciting descents, along with some truly spectacular views. You will also get to visit the lovely village of Galtur as well. Meanwhile, every night we will stop and rest for the night in a different mountain hut. The huts we will be staying in are the Heidelberger hut, the Jamtal hut and Wiesbadener hut.

In order to participate on this trip, you should be able to splitboard at an minimum intermediate level. And because we will be trekking to the summit of numerous peaks, and we will be at a high altitude for the majority of this trip, you should be in good physical condition as well.

Splitboarding through a collection of peaks like the Silvretta Alps is a memorable experience. And if you would like to take part in that experience, please send me a request. I would be happy to guide you.

Would you like to splitboard on the renowned, breathtaking and challenging Haute route? If you do, then come and join me on this 6 day journey from Chamonix to Zermatt.

Mountain Guide

I was born in 1961, I live in Campitello di Fassa, in the Dolomites, together with my family. I have two sons, one is a mountain guide, the other is a ski instructor. I am a certified mountain guide since 1982, an instructor of guides, alpine ski instructor and a Federal coach for ISEF.

Being in the mountains has always been my passion, guiding people, teaching them climbing, mountaineering... during the various seasons of the year. I very much enjoy drawing nice curves in fresh powder snow and discover the charm of the frozen waterfalls.

My curriculum and professional mountaineering is made of many ascents and some openings of routes in the Dolomites and the Alps. I climbed in Yosemite Valley (California), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Norway, Greece, Spain and Sardinia. I did also several high altitude climbs like Mt Denali (Alaska), Ama Dablam (6828m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Manaslu (8163m), Shivling in India (6545m), Cotopaxi and Chimborazo in Ecuador (5897m and 6310m), Patagonia (Argentina).

Feel free to get in touch with me if you are coming in the Dolomites for skiing (alpine, freeride and ski touring), rock climbing, sport climbing and multi pitch climbing. It will be my pleasure to guide you here and let you discover my secret spots.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
