Join me for a thrilling 8-Day Trek through the gorgeous Selvaggio Blu (Wild Blue).

This 45 km stretch of coastline is located on the beautiful island of Sardinia.

Imagine hiking for 5-7 Hours a Day, always within view of the bluest Mediterranean water you have ever seen. Then imagine making your way through patches of nature so untouched, your footprints have a chance to remain long after you leave. Finally, imagine standing atop steep, rocky cliffs, breathing deep, while staring far into the horizon beyond.

For the majority of this trek, we will be sleeping on secluded beach. You will see so many stars, it will appear as if they are all blending together making for a giant spectacle made just for you. And that is what the Selvaggio Blu is, a spectacle, and it is one of nature's best.

the Selvaggio Blu offers much in the way of adventure as well. There is Abseiling over Vertical Walls. There is climbing Various Cliffs, and hiking through the Wilderness. On the first night of this trek, you will even get to enjoy local cuisine in a Sheppard's Hut on an amazing plateau.

This trek does not require any past climbing experience. The climbs are easy, and while the hikes are long, they are more than manageable. However, there are some tough spots. Thus earning the Selvaggio Blu the title of one of the toughest treks in Europe. But I know the challenges will be well worth it, as the reward is conquering them and seeing all this amazing stretch of coastline has to offer as a result.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cagliari - Saint Maria Navarrese

After arriving in Cagliari, participants will take the 2 hour drive north to Saint Maria Navarrese and check into the 3 star hotel, Saint Maria.

Day 2 to 7: Selvaggio Blu

For six nights, participants will trek through the Selvaggio Blu, sleeping in sleeping bags on various parts of the beach, while food and luggage will be brought daily by boat, enabling participants to not worry about being burdened by heavy bags.

Day 8: Saint Maria Navarrese

On the final day we will arrive by boat to Saint Maria Navarrese and reach the hotel by noon.

Mountain Guide

My passion for nature and the mountains led me to become a mountain guide. I started my career as a pilot and, for a while, dedicated my life to university. However, over the years, my love for the mountains increased.

Since then, I have been working as a mountain guide, taking my clients on great ski and climbing adventures. I guide around my country and also around Europe: Spain, Italy, France, England, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Norway. I sometimes also go to Chile, Canada, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

As an IFMGA certified mountain guide, it is a pleasure for me to guide people from all over the world to these amazing destinations. My main objective is to have you enjoy a great time in the mountains while keeping you safe.
