Description

Barcelona is a natural and cultural paradise. And, very close to the city, lies the Sant Llorenç del Munt and l’Obac, a true Eden with endless options for every type of hiker. So don’t miss the opportunity to trek across this marvellous place. And join me on this 1-day hike!

The more than 13,000 ha of the Sant Llorenç del Munt and l’Obac Natural Park are an open invitation for adventurers. The park is located in the Catalonian pre-coastal range. Thus, it has a privileged and fertile terrain, brimming with singular flora and fauna. So, we’ll have to keep our eyes open for all the animals and plants we’ll discover throughout our traverse.

What’s more, the park possess very interesting geological features. We’ll be able to identify right away the unique geological shapes, that have formed mesmerizing crevices, monoliths and needles. Thus, creating great opportunities for climbing enthusiasts.

Then, on top of all the natural things we’ll explore, the park has a great cultural significance. As we’ll run into dwellings and ruins from the medieval times. Also, we’ll visit ancient romanesque churches, that form part of the historical patrimony of the country.
