Description

The Czech Republic doesn't have high mountains or famous peaks. However, it does have some incredible rock formations that have put this country on the rock climbing world map!

Czech climbers have made an indelible mark on the history of alpinism. And most of them started out on sandstone rocks. These sandstone climbing day trips will let you discover what's so special about this discipline and why people are coming from all over the world to get a taste of these rocks.

Depending on your level and wishes, we can climb in Adršpachu, Czech Paradise or Czech Switzerland. Each one of these offers hundreds of routes that we'll have to choose from. I know these spots really well and will take you to the routes that are best adapted to your climbing level.

Sandstone climbing is in many ways unique. It has its own set of rules and requires great mental endurance from the climber. I've got nearly 30 years of climbing experience and can offer a program tailored specifically for you.

So come join and experience sandstone climbing in its mecca. The Czech Republic is the perfect spot to try sandstone climbing for the first time. Contact me!

I also offer a similar climbing day trips in the High Tatras. Check them out!

What area would we be climbing in?

We'll choose the climbing area according to your experience and weather conditions.

Will I be in a group with others? or is this a private trip?

I am curious about how the climbing routes will be. Will these climbs be lead climbing? Top rope?

Are you offering other outdoor/adventure activities?

Mountain Guide

I've been skiing and climbing since my early childhood. I graduated in 2005 from the Univerzity of Hradec Kralove with a Master degree at the Faculty of Education. Since then I worked as a history and PE teacher. I was also running an Outdoor sport's club at that time, spending plenty of time climbing, skiing etc. with my students.

In 2009, I became a full time skiing and climbing instructor.

Licences:
2009 – APUL C ski instructor
2010 – APUL B ski instructor
2011 – APUL telemark and snowboard
2012 – ISIA Mark (International ski instructors association)
– MSMT climbing instructor and Mountain leader
2013 – entered the UIAGM mountain guide education
2014 – passed the UIAGM Aspirant exam.
2015 - Succeeded the UIAGM / IFMGA final exam

Spending your holiday with you would be my pleasure. Whether in winter on a ski tour (in Czech Republic or Austria) or in summer among the spectacular sandstone towers.

It will be, with no doubt, a very pleasant experience for all of us. I'm an easygoing, friendly and reliable person with a good sense for responsibility.

Don't hesitate to get in touch with me !

What people are saying about Explore-Share

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
