Description

Join me on this rock climbing trip in the Greek island of Kalymnos, a climbing mecca that attracts climbers from all over the world. For 8 days, you will be practicing and improving your technique surrounded by the Aegean Sea.

This trip is aimed to climbers who already know how to lead climb and want to get started with outdoor climbing or for those looking to improve their tactics, techniques, on-sight and red point outdoor climbing. We will set a goal for this trip together, whether you are looking to being comfortable leading climb or taking your climbing skills a step further.

During this week in Kalymnos we will be staying in Massouri, just below the cliffs. Our schedule can be adapted during these days, depending on the weather, but we will usually have a warm up and climb between 8 and 4, stopping for lunch whenever you want.

On the first day, we will do a check up of previous climbing knowledge, belaying technique, falling techniques and we will discuss together your goal for the week.

We will have a rental car to get to the crag, and to move around the island. The group climbs together and I will be coaching you continuously during the day.At around 4.30 we will get back to our accommodation every day and have dinner with the group at around 7.30, planning the next day and receiving individual feedback.

Itinerary

Day 1: Sunday - Arrival

Welcome dinner, getting to know the group and going through the upcoming week.

*DAILY SCHEDULE (can be adjusted during the trip and depending on weather)

8.00 am: Warm up and approach to the crag

10.00 am to 4.00 pm: Climbing. The group climbs together and coaching takes place continuously during the day. You can have lunchs when you stop to rest or feel hungry.

4.00/4.30 pm: Return home from the crag

7.30 pm:Dinner together with the group. Planning for the following day. After dinner, you have the opportunity of individual feedback from the climbing day.

Day 2: Monday - Climbing

Climbing, checking up of belaying technique, prior knowledge, falling techniques and goal setting.

Day 3: Tuesday - Climbing

Climbing with a focus on individual goals.

Day 4: Wednesday - Climbing

Day 5: Thursday - Rest Day

Day 6: Friday - Climbing

Day 7: Saturday - Climbing and farewell dinner
