Situated less than 30 kilometers outside of the Portuguese capital, Sintra-Cascais Natural Park offers plenty of incredible rock climbing opportunities near Lisbon, Portugal!

The picturesque part of the Portuguese Riviera hugs the Atlantic coast directly west of Lisbon and provides countless excellent bouldering and sport climbing opportunities.

After meeting up in the small seaside town of Cascais, your local Portuguese climbing guide will take you into the park and the fun begins.

Depending on what you'd like to do as well as how much previous experience you have, your guide will select the perfect route.

The best views of the natural park are gained from atop various walls and towers in the park, so we will aim to climb one of these when we visit. Expect spectacular vistas out over the ocean.

While Sintra-Cascais Natural Park can experience all four seasons in one day, the weather is generally best for climbing in the summer, with plenty of dry days and sunshine.
