Would you like to discover some of the best locations for rock climbing in Portugal? Then join us on this exciting 5-day trip in Algarve and we will find the perfect routes for you.
On this 5-day adventure, we will have the chance to go to the best rock climbing spots for your level. We will assess your abilities and visit different spots every day in small climbing groups. Some of the locations we will go to include Bensafrim, Rocha da Pena, Sagres, and even a special secret spot. Additionally, you can include cultural activities, classes, and massages to your program for a small extra cost. You can find a full itinerary below.
Keep in mind that although we will be able to tailor the program according to your level, it is recommended to have some experience climbing and to have a healthy and active lifestyle. Please let us know your level in advance so that we can put you in the right group and design the itinerary accordingly.

Itinerary
Day 1: Monday
We’ll come and get you from your lodging and head to our introductory site of Bensafrim to spend the morning climbing and getting acquainted with the local rock. We’ll then bring you back “home” so you can recover and enjoy the rest of the day.
Day 2: Tuesday
This will be a big day, as we’ll head to Rocha da Pena, Algarve’s biggest and most established climbing paradise with routes for all levels! We’ll stop for a pic-nic lunch and keep climbing away! After another full day of learning and sharing we’ll return to Lagos in the end of the day.
Day 3: Wednesday
This will be a very needed resting day. You can sleep, explore and enjoy some down-time. If you are still full of energy we can offer some more climbing or other experiences.
Day 4: Thursday
This time, we’ll head to Sagres for a morning session, in order to abseil and climb over its majestic 30-meter long sea-cliffs! Dramatic views and ultimate exposure is to be expected. 🙂
Day 5: Friday
The last and a very exciting day! We’ll head to Sagres for a full day but stop halfway at an area we’ve been developing in secret. This will involve a hike, crazy access and long routes like no others in the region. All of these at a remote location right by the ocean!

Our small company is managed by 3 childhood friends that after years of traveling around the world, returned home to start a project that speaks to our hearts and minds.
Among the resident team, we count with 2 PADI Scuba Diving Instructors and 1 FFME (French Mountaineering & Climbing Federation) instructor.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy.
