California and all its rocky walls are waiting for you. Today I bring a perfect option for those intermediate climbers looking for an improvement of their skills.
During this rock climbing course for intermediate climbers, I can guarantee:
A higher instance after taking the course for beginners
The opportunity of improving and learning more about technical movements
Theory and practice taught by certified mountain guides
You can enjoy this rock climbing learning day in different points of California, such as the Castle Rock State Park, Stoney Point (in Los Angeles) or the Malibu Creek State Park. In each of them you will climb 2 or 3 intermediate rocky routes.
We will also help you to improve the techniques of the use of your feet and give you a preliminary lesson on rope handling. The requirements to book your place in this intermediate climbers‘ course are:
Have a climber level between 5.7 and 5.8
Know some basic rules of belaying
Have knowledge of the figure 8 following the knot.
Don’t forget to bring with you appropriate clothing, some snacks and water, sun screen, a small pack and comfortable boots.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
