Description

Ideal for experienced rock climbers, this climbing adventure will take you to some of the best rock climbing spots in the Picos de Europa.

Located in the Cantabrian Mountains of Spain, the Picos de Europa are the perfect place for exploring, hiking and, of course, rock climbing. And, on this level 2 climbing adventure, you will get to choose from a number of amazing, and at times challenging, climbing routes. Each route is unique and will provide you with tremendous views and a climbing experience you will never forget.

Examples of the routes you can choose from include the following.

  • Via Espolon de los Frances – V, 700 meter length

  • Original Route – Red Horcos – V, 500 meter length

  • Variante Regil – V+, 500 meter length

  • Northern Ram – Torrecerredo – V+, 300 meter length

  • Route Separation Real – Fresnideiello – 6a, 315 meter length

  • Via the Conjuration of the Fatos – Fresnidiello – 6a +, 280 meter length

  • Red Lebanese – Red Horcos – 6a +

  • Arista Del Juis – Pico Pozan – 6b, 700 meter length

With so many routes to choose from, you can rest assured you will have an amazing rock climbing experience that can last for one, or several days if you wish.

Participants on this trip should have prior experience climbing walls of at least a sixth grade, with a vertical drop of up to 1000 meters in length. You should also have experience climbing for at least 8 hours, and be in good physical condition.

The price for the Route separation Real - Fresnidiello route is 290 Euros for 1 person and 290 per person for a group of 2 people.

The price for the Via Espolon de los Franceses route is 350 Euros for 1 person and 225 Euros per person for a group of 2 people.

The price for Red Horcos route is 300 Euros for 1 person and 200 Euros per person for a group of 2 people.

The price for the Variante Regil route is 350 Euros for 1 person and 250 per person for a group of 2 people.

The price for the Northern Ram route is 400 Euros for 1 person and 250 Euros per person for a group of 2 people.

The price for Conjuration of the Fatos route is 300 Euros for 1 person and 200 Euros per person for a group of 2 people.

Hello! My name is Pablo. I was born in Cantabria (northern Spain) in 1984.
I'm alpinist, nature and a lover of my home, el Valle de Liébana. I work as a local guide in Picos de Europa National Park, the first National Park of Spain. I do organize adventure trips and several-day expeditions combining hiking and climbings. After ten years working in these lands as a guide, I set out my own mountain guide service company, Liébana Aventura. I try to keep a close relationship with my clients and share my knowledge, love and respect for this very rugged and at the same time beautiful environment. My certifications are: Sports technician II in mountain, climbing and cannyoning / Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides No. 1107.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
