Join me on this thrilling and family-friendly day trip to the mountains and learn the basics of rappelling.

Rappelling, also known as abseiling, is a technique used to descend vertical walls or mountains using a rope. It’s used in rock climbing, canyoning and mountaineering.

The adrenaline rush that comes with scaling down a mountain makes this a truly unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect beginner-friendly activity to enjoy while getting to know the beautiful mountains that lie just outside of Madrid. Families with children ages 6 and up are encouraged to join.

As an experienced and AEGM-certified mountain guide, safety is my absolute priority. Knowing that you’re in good hands, you can relax and enjoy the unique rush that rappelling promises.

Price includes individual rock climbing equipment (helmet and harness), shared equipment and gear (rope, quickdraws, carabiners and rappelling devices), accident insurance and civil liability insurance, non commercial transport in the guide´s vehicle and pick up service at your hotel or accommodation in Madrid. NOT included: food and drinks, tips and gratuities. A picnic pack can be purchased for 15 euros (vegan or special food upon request).

No previous experience required. Standard fitness level required. Participants must not suffer from vertigo. Not recommended for pregnant women. Children must be at least six years old to participate.

What to pack: -Backpack. -Mountain/Hiking boots or trail shoes, Sports shoes. -Mountain wear/Sport wear (according to the season). -Fleece. -Waterproof jacket (windproof/waterproof Gore Tex type). -Sun screen and lip balm. -Sun hat. -Sport Sunglasses. -Mobile phone and camera. -Passport/Identification document and personal belongings. -Personal medication. -1,5 L of water and snacks (sandwich, fruit, nuts, energy bars, etc…) per person.
