Description

Lying on the border between the Val de Bagnes and the Grand St. Bernard Valley, in the canton of Valais, the Petit Combin (3672 m) offers amazing possibilities for a great heliboarding day.

The Petit Combin belongs to the Grand Combin massif and from its summit there are spectacular 360-degree panorama views, from Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn. Petit Combin is a very popular destination for heliboarding and heliskiing in Europe.

During this day, I will take you to enjoy the many and varied runs available on these mountain. This is the perfect trip por snowboarders and skiers looking for unique descents in the Alps.

The standard runs lead down to the village of Bourg St.-Pierre via the Boveire glacier or to the Fionnay village by the Corbassière glacier. They don’t offer any particular difficulties. Also when there is plenty of snow as to bridge over the crevasses, the Follats Glacier run becomes very popular.

The most challenging route of the Petit Combin is the north-east face, therefore it is the is less-frequented and less-often viable. There are also some skinning options for those who enjoy touring, in the Col l’Ane and in the Col des Otanes.

Please note this is an exclusive programme and I will take care of absolutely everything: I will pick you up in your hotel and then take you to the heli-place. I will also have a transfer ready to pick us up at the bottom of our run

So are you in for such a great heliboarding day? Send me a request and book your trip! We will enjoy amazing runs on the beautiful Petit Combin in Valais. You can also check out my heliboarding day tour at the Trient Glacier.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
