Description

Pared Espejo is another climbing jewel in Chile. It is in the famous Cochamo Valley, North Patagonia. I'd like to invite you there and spend 4 days of pure cracks, caves and rock walls together.

Pared Espejo represents one of the first routes in the region. It's located is the "Anfiteatro" (Amphitheater in English) area. Moreover, it is one of the most classic routes in Cochamo. Pared Espejo offers excellent moderate-difficulty cracks and a great view from its top.

During this 4 day trip we'll climb the Pared Espejo via 2 routes. One is called "Excelente mi teniente". It is 500-meter long and provides 11 different pitches to climb. The other route is "Cinco Estrellas" and it is a little shorter (450 meters of height) and has a total of 10 pitches.

All participants must have previous rock climbing experience. A perfect physical condition is also mandatory. The best season to fully enjoy this trip is during the summer. If I am not available at that time my brother Cristobal can lead the adventure.

IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide from Chile

I was born in 1987, and since I was young I’ve been around the mountains, and for the past 12 years I’ve been practicing all mountain disciplines.

Some highlights of my climbing career: First Chilean to Cerro Torre via Ragni, first Torres del Paine alpine style traverse, and many other first ascents.

I did the IFMGA/UIAGM aspirant course in Bolivia in 2016, and recently got my full IFMGA certification in April 2018. I have also AIARE level 2 training.

Come and discover the mountains of Chile, a wonderful country, where we will have a unique experience together with a professional guide, in a truly unforgettable trip, it will be a pleasure to be able to guide you through some of the mountains of my country in your next vacations, i am sure will be the first of many adventures that we will enjoy together in the mountains of the Andes.
