The Paklenica National Park is located in Starigrad, Croatia. The park is situated at the slopes of the Velebit mountain (1,757m) and is close to the old city of Zadar. There are two beautiful canyons that you can admire in the park: the Mala and Velika Paklenica canyons. The natural surroundings of this place will most definitely leave you in a state of awe.
On this climbing excursion, which will last two hours, I would like to introduce you to the wonderful activity of rock climbing. Like most physically demanding activities, rock climbing can be intimidating to most people. And because of that intimidation, I think an introductory course, like the one I am offering, is ideal for people who want to give rock climbing a try. During this course, I will make sure you learn the necessary basics for a safe and fun rock climbing experience.
No previous experience is necessary to participate on this trip. Participants do not require any prior knowledge about belaying and tying knots. You do not even require any indoor rock climbing experience either. Throughout this trip you will be secured on a safe top rope.
The Paklenica national park is an incredible place, filled with wonderful rock climbing. And even if you have never rock climbed before, on this introductory course, you can still have a great time. All you have to do is send me a request.
Would you like to explore more of the Paklenica National Park, as well as other Croatian natural highlights? Then come and join me on this week long hiking tour.

Mountain Leader
I was born in Zadar, but I grew up at the base of Velebit, the greatest Croatian mountain, and this shaped the rest of my life. Living in the nature gave me everything I dreamed of. In the same place I had mountains, river and the sea.
I am CMGA certified (Croatian Mountain Guide Association) and UIMLA guide (2013).
I love to explore new destinations, sharing them with nature lovers. And there's more than just the adventure. Indeed, I will take you to discover the locations learning the local people way of living and trying the traditional local food.
In the end, my goal is for you to take home the best memories of this experience!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
