Join me for a 5-Day Hut to Hut Ski Tour in the beautiful Bernese Oberland Region of the Swiss Alps.

There is so much to choose from in the Oberland Region that this trip is never the same. The region is enormous, so this trip is always different, every time, and that is what makes it so incredible. There are a number of options as to where this 5-Day Trek can begin. We can start at the Aletsch Glacier Area, the Grimsel Pass, or the Susten Pass, or many other spots. The options are endless.

Regardless of where we start however, you will see so much within the Oberland Region that you will always feel as if you've chosen the best route. And with sights like Lake Thun, or the awe inspiring Jungfrau Peak (4,158m), it is easy to see why you will feel that way. Despite the beauty of the assortment of routes we can choose from, this region is still relatively quiet. There aren't a lot of tour groups. And your group will be small as well. Hence creating a more adventurous atmosphere that amplifies the already enormous size of the area we will be exploring.

Also, because this trip takes place during the sparkling Spring Season, the weather will play a huge factor in where we go. However, this will add even more wonder to the trip, as we follow the whims of the weather. And we will ski where the slopes are the most inviting. It is also an added bonus that every night during this trek, the Huts you will be sleeping in are comfortable and offer great stationary views of the Alps' amazing scenic display.

So let me guide you on a 5-day journey through the Bernese Oberland Region of the Swiss Alps. Where in the midst of the dazzling Spring Season, you will get the chance to ski on glistening slopes, while seeing things you will never forget.

You need to be an intermediate to advanced skier in all of the off-piste condition, powder, crust and icy slopes. Personal equipment and avalanche equipment is not included in the trip's price.

Mountain Guide

I am originally from Tokoroa, New Zealand, but I'm now based in Interlaken, Switzerland. I started rock climbing at 19 years and moved on to alpine climbing two years later.

I began guiding in 2003 and am now a fully qualified IFMGA Climbing and Ski Guide. Apart from having extensive experience in New Zealand's Southern Alps, I also know the European Alps very well.

When guiding, I enjoy helping people achieve their dreams: whether it is climbing a summit or acquiring the skills to travel in the mountains. I like watching the dawn turn into a sunrise high on a summit when most people are still asleep and, when rock climbing, I enjoy unlocking a sequence that seemed impossible at first.

When not climbing, I like to ski long, steep, deep powder runs.
