  • Climb to the top of 3 amazing volcanoes, including Sajama.
  • Explore the wonderful city of La Paz.

Description

During this 16-day adventure, I would like to guide you to the tops of 3 impressive peaks. Those peaks include Sajama (6,542m), Parinacota (6,362m) and Actotango (6,052m).

Like people, and snowflakes, each one of the peaks you’ll climbing during this trip are unique. They each possess their own set of views, challenges and surprises. Thus making this adventure as varied as it is exciting.

Our journey will begin in La Paz. From there we will make our way to the Sajama Volcano. Located in the Sajama National Park, near the Chilean Border, the volcano is the highest summit in Bolivia. Known as the Bolivian Roof, the volcano is unbelievably impressive, no matter where you view it. Meanwhile, Parinacota possess a perfect cone. Thus, making it a beautiful peak to admire, and climb. Finally, Acotango, yet another gorgeous volcano, possesses a grand central crater that once seen, you will never forget.

Since we will be climbing 3, 6,000 meter plus peaks in 16 days, it is important that participants on this trip are properly acclimatized. You should also be in good physical condition and have prior mountaineering experience.

I love taking people to the top of Bolivia. I love seeing their faces as they take in the majestic views. To join me and enjoy the same kind of experience, please send a request.

I also offer an 18-day expedition that will take you to the summits of Huayna Potosi, along with Sajama and Parinacota.

Mountain Guide

EPGAMT Mountain Guide from Mendoza, Argentina.

I always enjoyed the mountains, and started with mountaineering activities since a young age, so it was natural for me to become a mountain guide. I’ve been working for more than 15 seasons in Aconcagua, first as porter, then as Mountain Guide assistant, and now as Mountain Guide.

I climbed a lot of peaks all along the Andes mountain range, in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru, including Aconcagua (6.962 mt – 27 ascents, through different routes like the North and the Polish glacier-), Co Plata (6.000 mt), Ojos del Salado (6.780 mt), Mount Pissis (6.850 m), C° LLullaillaco (6.723 m), C° Incahuasi (6.450 m), Vn Sajama (6.550 m), Vn Bonete Chico (6 750 m), Co Junción (5000 m), Toclaraju ( 6036m), Pisco (5750m), and the three summits of Tres Cruces 6.780m. I recently did my first expedition in the Himalayas, where I reached the summit of Mt Lhotse (8.516 mt).

I usually enjoy organizing expeditions to wild, off-the-beaten-track destinations, that need a complex logistic that you won’t find easily elsewhere.

I am fluent in Spanish, English and Italian.

What people are saying about Explore-Share

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Maxine

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Valeriya

You’re simply the best!!! :))) Explore-Share made everything easy and stress-free. Will definitely use again.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Cami

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
