Description

This hiking program is specially designed to give you the most imposing views of the Napali Coast from a unique spot. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit the Hawaiian island of Kauai in a different, but more adventurous, way!

This 6 to 7-hour tour will take you through the most breathtaking sections of the Napali Coast as seen from breathtaking overlooks in Kōkeʻe State Park (not on the Kalalau Trail). It might sound exhausting, but the views you will see during the hike and the majestic perspective you’ll get from the 300-meter high viewpoint, will worth every drop of sweat.

The Napali Coast, on Kauai’s North Shore, is 27 meters long. The impressive cliffs blanketed in emerald vegetation rise above the Pacific Ocean.

During the trek, you will also pass through the towns of Hanapēpē and Waimea. Among other highlights, you will also see the Waimea Canyon, a red, yellow and purple colored canyon that will leave you in awe.

The tour duration indicated (6/7 hours) is from pick up/meet up to drop off, and includes not only the hiking time but also a scenic drive of 1 hour each way, stopping for lunch at a rustic mountain top lodge, and stopping at several overlooks of Waimea Canyon and The Napali Coast as accessed from Kōkeʻe State Park 4k feet above (not the Kalalau Trail accessed from the North Shore). Which trail(s) we actually hike will depend on the group’s interest and fitness level. and the amount of time and difficulty level of the hike is also adjustable as the tour is private and fully customizable.
