Muztagh Ata peak mountaineering program in China

From the arrival in Bishkek with some time to rest, to Manas International airport, 25 km of travel. In the afternoon we transfer to Naryn city, the first stop in our journey. We will be sleeping in a guest house. All three meals included.

We leave there from Naryn to Torugart crossing the Kyrgyzstan-China border and further to Kashgar, the second stop. The accommodation will be in a hotel. All three meals included.

Transfer from Kashgar to Subashi village, the travel will take 4 to 5 hours (200 km in a bus).
We will cross the Karakorum motorway through a narrow gorge of the River Gez. The altitude at that time will be about 3900 m by the shores of Karakorum lake. We will be about 196 km from Kashgar.
You will have the opportunity to see horses, yaks and camels graze in the rich pastures.
From now on the adventure begins. We are going to sleep in yurts or tents.

We will trek from Subsahi to the Base camp at Muztagh Ata peak.
At the morning we are going to drive 10km to Subashi to meet the camels that will take our equipment to base camp. With the camels carrying the equipment, we are going to trek over a plateau and then climb through the barren hills to the camp, which is approximately a 4 hour walk.
Drifts of alpine flowers cover the slopes as we approach our destination and the local marmots can often be heard calling out a welcome. Camping overnight. All three meals included.

Climbing the Muztagh Ata peak. The beginning of the ascent with more than 7000 meters high. Climbing and acclimatization in case of bad weather. Period for climbing to Muztag-Ata, which requires building and supplying three high camps. Meals are provided only at the base camp, however if climbers choose to go further they will need to bring their own food.

We are going to start the trekking from the Base camp to Subashi. Then will transfer to Kashgar and starting the return journey.

In the morning we will go down to Subashi, again our gear will be taken by the camels. At Subashim, our transport to Kashgar will be already waiting and we will arrive there in early evening. We are going back to civilization, so the accommodation will be in a Hotel. All three meals included.

For the last day of the expedition, will be doing a City tour in Kashgar. Our tour includes the tombs of Abakh Hoja Tomb, the well-known Kashgar Bazaar, the famous Mosque and the most unique old town with typical Uyghur styled homes. We will visit various shopping alleys full of noodle shops, bakeries, tea shops, blacksmiths and carpenters. Then we will get back to the hotel. All three meals included.

Transfer from Kashgar to Torugart pass, further to Naryn, by Bus. After a breakfast, we will drive to the Torugart Pass crossing the China-Kyrgyzstan border. We will transfer to Naryn and sleep in a guest house or yurt as accommodation. All three meals included.

Transfer from Naryn to Bishkek. The accommodation will be in a hotel. All three meals included.
