Description

Follow me to explore the top quality rock in Monte Oddeu in Sardinia, Italy. We’ll discover the hundreds of rock climbing options in the stunning island over the course of our full day adventure. Join me and discover this beautiful corner!

Located in the Dorgali area in Eastern Sardinia, Monte Oddeau is the best and most accessible area for multi-pitch climbing in the island of Sardinia. As a part of the Supramonte Massif, it is a popular hiking and climbing destination between two incredible gorges the Su Gorropu Gorge and the Dolòverre di Surtana. The short approaches, dazzling limestone, the possibility to climb in the sun or shade, and routes that are not that long (the longest one covers 200 meters) make it an ideal place for climbing.

Monte Oddeu offers hundreds of itineraries for all multi-pitch climbing tastes. I’ll choose the route depending on your expectations and the weather conditions.

Ready for a thrilling adventure in Sardinia? Then book your trip now and let me guide you up the rocks of Monte Oddeau!

If you want a more challenging setting or want to explore this area further, join me on this rock climbing trip in Cala Gonone or on a 4-day multi-pitch climbing program in Sardinia.

Aspirant Guide

Aspirant IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide
My name is Marco Bigatti, nicknamed “Il Biga”. I was born in Milan, I started climbing in 2006 and since then I have not been able to tear myself away from the vertical world. I turned my passion into a job, becoming Mountain Guide in October 2017, the first mountain guide that lives all the year in Sardinia.
I experience the mountains from a 360-degree point of view. I have practiced all disciplines of climbing in the Alps: rock climbing, alpinism, ice climbing , as well as ski mountaineering.

In addition to alpinism, I love pure sport climbing, seeking out the best climbing sectors throughout the entire Alpine range. But it was in Sardinia that I found a paradise of crags, in particular in the south-west of the island, where you are able to enjoy all types of climbing throughout the year.
I offer climbing day or trips for beginners or experienced climbers who need a guide, multipitch packages for those who want to live an alpine experience, climbing courses, all-inclusive climbing holiday with accommodation in our nice B&B by the sea, guided trekking and mountain biking tours.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
