If you want to climb immense glaciers in one of North America’s most imposing mountains, this trip is for you. I am offering an amazing ice climbing day outing to the summit of Mount Baker, in Washington State.

Mount Baker (3,286 m.), a heavy glaciated volcano, is the highest point of the North Cascades. With easy accessibility and providing a great mass of snow and and about 12 active glaciers, it is a perfect alpine training ground.

Ice climbing is a unique sport for outdoor adventures lovers but requires specialized techniques. If you are a beginner, in this trip you will learn the basics of ice footwork and how to use axes and anchors. And if you are an advanced ice climber, you will improve your technique under expert guidance.

Ice Climbing on Mt. Baker is an experience that you won’t forget. In our way to the top we will go across frozen waterfalls, cliffs and rock slabs covered with ice. Furthermore, we will enjoy unique views of the wonderful surrounding: endless snow-capped peaks.
