* Climb the famous Mont Blanc - the highest mountain in the Alps!
* Acclimatize in the stunning Chamonix - charming visitors for decades!
* Stay in gorgeous and cosy mountain huts!
* Beautiful scenery and sweeping panoramic views over Europe!
Ascending the majestic and world-famous Mont Blanc is something that every mountaineer has to experience, and I invite you to join me on a guided tour that will entail the most classic way of doing this, as we acclimatize in Chamonix and follow the beautiful, archetypal path to the top.
Mont Blanc towers high above Europe, and is the highest mountain in The Alps. It has long been considered a climbing mecca, and such is its prominence it is being considered as a World Heritage site due to its raw beauty and perfect alpine terrain bringing large quantities of crowds each year.
After meeting on the first day in Chamonix/Argentiere for a safety briefing and gear check, we head off the next morning to the absolutely mesmerizing Grand Montets glacier, a tranquil slice of beauty, where we complete a snow and ice course. Afterwards we spend the night in the Argentiere hut.
The next two are spent acclimatizing to altitudes over 3000m, and the 4th night is spent at either the Cosmique or Tete Rousse huts, both picturesque places nestled amongst the snow and idyllic surrounding landscapes.
The 5th day is when we ascend to the top of the truly grand Mont Blanc, and once you are at the top you will never feel more alive as you look out on the sweeping views across Europe and beyond, the crisp air filling up your lungs adding to the euphoria.
After spending the night in the fun and refreshing Gouter Hut, we then descend back down to our starting point, where the trip finishes, hopefully feeling happy and satisfied that you have completed such a historical and traditional adventure.
Ascending Mont Blanc is a tradition every mountaineer should complete – book now to tick it off your list!
I also offer a Mont Blanc ascent with acclimatization on Gran Paradiso, here!

Mont Blanc ascent and an overnight in the Gouter (depending on the hut between 1400 meters climbing to 1100 meters, the summit day is usually calculated as a 10-12 hours day).
Today’s plan is to get back down to the valley where our activity will be concluded! Estimated time to reach the valley- 12:00-14:00.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
