Join me on this incredible mountaineering adventure to the heart of the Alps. During this trip, we’ll spend a whole week exploring the Mont Blanc and Argentiere valley to reach the impressive Mont Blanc summit at an altitude of 4,810 meters.
We’ll meet at Chamonix, France and ascend through different routes to explore the whole area. On these 6 days, I’ll teach you about mountaineering, glaciar approaches, crampon use, chords and self-rescue. All this while visiting some beautiful places and enjoying stunning views. Some of the places we’ll visit include Aiguille de Midi, Bellevue, Aiguille Verte and Pointe Lachenal, among others. You can check the itinerary below for a more detailed description of what we’ll do each day. Keep in mind that the itinerary is subject to change for safety reasons, weather conditions, participants’ skill level or hut availability.

After breakfast in Chamonix, we’ll ride the cable car to Aiguille de Midi (3,810m). Then, we’ll take another cabelway through Mont Blanc towards Italy. From Refugio Torino we’ll begin our ascent. Night at Refugio Los Cósmicos (3,613m).
After spending the day in the stunning Pointe Lachenal, we’ll take the cablecar back from Aiguille de Midi. Night at Chamonix.
First, we’ll take a train to the Argentiere town. Then, we’ll take a cablecar to Montets (3,200m). We’ll ascend to the summit of Aiguille Verte. Night in Chamonix.
Cablecar to Bellevue (1,794m) from Les Houches. Mont Blanc train to Nid d’Aigle (2,380m). Night at Refugio Tête Rousse (3,165 m).
First, we’ll go to Refugio de Goûter to have lunch. We’ll go by Dôme de Goûter (4,304 m). We’ll reach the Mont Blanc summit (4,810 m) and descend towards Refugio de Goûter, where we’ll spend the night.
On our last day, we’ll descend to the train at Nid d’Aigle.
If we can’t reach the summit the day before due to weather conditions, fatigue or altitude sickness, we’ll try to do so very early on the last day in order to reach the train on time.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy.
