After a transfer to Rabaçal, you will set off on an unforgettable trek through the 19th century Levada do Risco and Levada das 25 Fontes (25 fountains), enjoying along the way, gorgeous flowers, and birds, as well as stunning wilderness views including waterfalls and lagoons.

Levada do Alecrim/ Lagoa do Vento/Levada das 25 Fontes from Rabaçal:

On this extended levada program, you will be able to visit several levadas starting from Rabaçal.

First will be Levada do Alecrim, where you can appreciate the Tree Heather and Madeira Blueberry, as well as several species of birds and cows. From there, we will continue to Lagoa do Vento, a unique spot with charming and exuberant waterfalls. After, we will head down to the Rabaçal’ house to the trailhead of Levada do Risco, which boasts a gorgeous waterfall. Finally, we will continue to the Levada walk of 25 Fontes (25 Fountains) where we will have time to relax in nature.
