Get ready to travel to the eastern corner of the world to enjoy this amazing Kamchatka Wild East heliboarding week!
Russia is an enormous country. It spreads through Europe and Asia and it holds secret areas of unparalleled wildness and incredible beauty: Kamchatka is one of them!
It’s located in the north east corner of the country (and the world), lying only a few kilometres away from Alaska. And it’s great landscape is full of wild valleys, high mountains and active volcanoes.
So, my plan is to take you out everyday flying on a MI-8 helicopter, which can take us discover the wildest and remotes spots of this area. The main goal of this program is that all of you, snowboarders or skiers, explore new routes every day, while you try the wide variety of terrain options.
That’s why the accommodation will be flexible and will be adapted to our schedule. If you decide to go east to the Kuri Islands, we’ll stay sleep in that area. But if you then want to explore the Klychevskaya mountain, we’ll just head that way. Everything is possible in this Wild heliboarding safari.
So, do you want to join me on this Kamchatka’s Wild East heliboarding week? Then send me a request now and I’ll take you on an amazing adventure you will never forget.

HELICOPTER The helicopters we use are 'MI-8 biturbine', the most popular model in the world, renowned for their power and reliability. They are chartered from a private company, Kamchatka Airlines, who guarantee the upkeep and maintenance of these helicopters in line with International standards. The flight team, for this 20 passenger helicopter is made up of two pilots and a flight engineer. Our pilots have many years experience flying in the mountains and have been working with us for many years. They have proven their capabilities on numerous flights and have shown their aptitude for taking wise decisions in uncertain weather conditions.
FLIGHT TIME In contrast to other Heli-ski companies who base their flight time on the vertical meters skied, we prefer to base our calculations on actual flight time. Not only is this method better for you, closer to the reality of the costs, but it also allows us freedom to adapt our program depending on conditions, giving us the possibility to explore the best sites. So a good day will give you 7000 to 10000 meters of vertical descent for around 2h30 of flight time! The flight time allocated for each trip is based on the average number of hours used throughout each trip during the season. If the weather conditions do not allow you to use all these hours, we will reimburse them to you.

Mountain Leader
I have been a mountain guide for almost 20 years. But I'm not only a guide...
The mountain is the thread of my life. I am a member of the Chamonix Guides Company, ski instructor and teacher for many years at ENSA (National School of Ski and Alpinism), I am very experienced in the mountains. My experience is multifaceted since I partake in varied projects, as a trainer and first aider at the Chamoniarde de Secours (an association that contributes to the development of mountain safety and to promote alpine environment knowledge), technical supervisor of the freeride competitions organization, or safety advisor and rider in several freeride videos.
My favorite?... The Kamchatka, heliski's promised land. In 2005 I created a heliski agency in Russia, to share my passion organizing exceptional ski journeys.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
