Description

I invite you to join me on a 5-day ski touring trip in the majestic Julian Alps, in Slovenia. With a great variety of options for all levels, Slovenia is a fantastic ski touring destination in Central Europe.

The starting point for our ski tours will be Kranjska Gora, the most famous mountain resort in the country. Located on the border with Austria and Italy, it offers stunning mountain scenery and great access to the Triglav National Park.

Kranjska Gora is nestled in the Sava Dolinka Valley, about 40km northwest of the town of Bled.

During this week, we will choose tours according to the group level and wishes and also according to the snow conditions. Three different mountain ranges within an hour drive give us a lot of great options to choose from.

We will enjoy fantastic ski tours, even if conditions are not the best. The height difference will be around 1000 meters. Besides, as a local guide, I know the best ski touring routes and I will take you to enjoy incredible descents on the best snow.

Half board in 3-4* family owned hotel is around 50€ per day. Total cost for 5 days of ski touring, including 6 nights in hotel with dinner and breakfast and transports on the tours is around 650€ per person.

I am a UIAGM mountain guide, ski instructor and sports teacher and the current president of the Slovenian Mountain Guide Association.

I am still the only guide who can make a living working exclusively in Slovenia. I climb Triglav more than 25 times per year, which means I have climbed the most famous peak in my country over 200 times.

If you want to climb or ski in Slovenian mountains I am the right choice. I guide via ferrata, rock climbing, snow climbing, ice climbing, hikes, heliski, freeride skiing and ski touring.
