Description
Along one of the most popular and recognized trekking routes in Europe, I would like to help you see the beauty of the Ardennes, from Houffalize to La Roche.
Spanning approximately 39 km, during this 3 day hiking adventure, you will get to see a long list of fantastic Belgian highlights. You will get to immerse yourself in nature and gaze at breathtaking landscape. And in the evenings you will get to rest and relax in a comfortable 3 star hotel.
On this independent trip, you will be provided with all of the navigational tools necessary to follow the amazing path that will take you from Houffalize to La Roche.
On the first day of hiking, you will trek from Houffalize to Nadrin. During this hike you will get to trek through a forest and walk through the Nabiselle valley. You will then pass the village of Bonnerue and see the Nisramont Dam before reaching Nadrin, where you will spend the night.
On the following day, you will make your way to the village of Berismenil. You will then hike down to the hamlet of Maboge and on to Borzee. Afterwards, you will continue on through the valley to La Roche, which you can explore and enjoy. You can then return to Houffalize if you wish.
The trekking route from Houffalize to La Roche is recognized by Europe’s leading quality trails, and the reputation is well deserved. It is a fantastic route, and I have no doubt you will have a great time hiking on it. If you wish to enjoy it, just send me a request.

Price details
- Along with necessary maps, information and topoguides, the price also includes luggage transfer and halfboard food and accommodation at a hotel. However, the price does not include transportation to the meeting place and from the place of separation, lunch, individual equipment, personal expenses, drinks, the return journey from La Roche to Houffalize, and the cost of any museum, castle or monument visits. The hotel rooms are double occupancy, but you can request a single room depending on availability.

Participants should bring the following items with them: a cap, sunglasses, a rain cape, proper hiking shoes, breathable underwear, waterproof and breathable goretex jacket, t-shirts, gloves, swimsuit, walking socks, a pocket knife, toilet paper, walking sticks, lighter, camera and personal medications. You should bring 2 bags, one which you will carry while hiking and another that we will transport.
