Description

If you are passionate about winter sports and you want to try something new, join us in this heliski trip to Gressoney! We will spend the entire day in the insides of the fascinating Monte Rosa in the Italian Alps.

The “My first heliski day” program we offer is ideal for those who want to try this new mountain activity.

You are going to have the opportunity of reaching remote areas by helicopter. And also, to get as high as 3150 meters before the fall.

Then, you can jump off and the adventure will begin!

You can freeride ski through great extents of untouched snowy landscapes.

We find the Gressoney in the south side of the Monte Rosa. For many skiers, it has become their favorite skiing location.

Some even consider it the gate to Paradise.

The heliski area we will cover extends from the Matterhorn and crosses the Breithorn massif. Finally, it reaches Monte Rosa’s east side.

You will have the chance of landing in 20 different spots. Also, there are over 60 runs to traverse while being surrounded of wonderful settings.

In conclusion, this heliski area of Gressoney wins the in categories of variety and beauty.

Ideally, each skiing group will have 4 people maximum. This I how we can guarantee your expedition to be totally safe as well as personalized.

We encourage all winter sports fanatics to come with us. However, there are some requirements we ask you to comply with.

First, you need to be a safe and confident off-piste skier, regardless the weather conditions.

Secondly, to be in good physical conditions so as to manage to ski off-piste up to 3000 vertical meters in one day.

Itinerary

Day 1: Meeting-Heliskiing day-Back to starting point

After meeting at the starting point, we will introduce ourselves and the program and we will run an equipment check. We will then take lifts and cable cars to Colle Bettaforca. There, the guides will test your skiing level. Finally, we will get on the helicopter which will take us up to Bettolina, at 3150 meters. We will ski across the areas of Val di Terra and Saint Jacques. At Saint Jacques, we will have lunch. We will go back to Gressoney with lifts from Frachey, via Colle Bettaforca again. We will be back in Staffal by 4.30 pm.

Additional helicopter flights in a group of 4 participants: Euro 105,00 - 200,00 per person and flight depending on the landing place (The fight prices are depending also on the group size). The vertical drop depending on the landing place varied between 1000vm and 2300vm.
