I invite you to join me on a classic multi-pitch climbing program in the Dolomites. Come with me and let's enjoy this rock climber's paradise in Italy.
I assure we will experience the best rock climbing routes and amazing views as well! This is a classic climb, from 1° grade and upwards. We can climb the Rosengarden, Sella, Sassolungo, Tofana and Cinque Torri.
I will take you to climb 7 to 10 pitches, from 200 t0 400 metres. The difficult level goes from grade III to V+. So, if you climb in the gym, you must climb a level 4.
The most spectacular Dolomite routes of the III, IV and V climbing grade await us. The amazing rocks of Spigolo del Pollice, in the Sassoluongo Group. Also, the Via Maria, the Spigolo Gross and the Torri del Sella at Sass Pordoi. Besides, we can climb at Gardeccia/Larsech in the Torri del Vajolet and the Spigolo Sass de Stria.
This 1-day tour is available every day. We will meet at 7.30 and we will return at about 16.30. Also, please note that I take a maximum of 2 people per group, to ensure the best attention.
You can see below this text the required climbing equipment and clothing for this tour.
Do you find this multi-pitch climbing proposal interesting? Then contact me and I will give you more information! I also offer another great rock climbing day in the Val di Fassa, available for all levels. Check it out!

Meeting point
Can I do some single pitch and a multi-pitch climb the same day?
Yes. This option is not available everywhere, but you can make a couple of single pitches before doing a short multi-pitch, for example, in the 5 Torri area by Cortina.
What happens in case of bad weather on the day of the climb?
In case of bad weather, we will try to find an alternative climb somewhere else. If nothing can be done on that same day, we will try to move the climb to another day. If this can't be arranged, the tour will be canceled, and you will get a full refund (minus fees).
What climbing equipment do I need to bring?
You have to bring only your personal climbing equipment (climbing shoes, harness and helmet). We will provide all the common climbing equipment. In case you don't have or don't want to bring harness and helmet, let me know and we can arrange it for you.
Where will we go climbing? Which route will we do? What are the climbing grades of the routes?
There are plenty of options in terms of routes and grades to do in the Dolomites. I will suggest some options based on where you'll be staying, your climbing skill and experience, and your expectations for the climbing day.
What should I bring for the day of the climb?
You need to bring your personal climbing equipment, suitable clothing for a climbing day in the mountains (considering the forecast for the day), a watter bottle, and snacks or a packed lunch.
How many people can go with 1 guide?
1 guide can take only up to 2 people for a multi-pitch climb.
What's included in the price?
The price includes the guiding fee and common climbing equipment. The helmet and harness can also be provided upon request.
Where will we meet for the day of the climb?
The meeting point will depend on the route we choose to do. Once you book the tour, and depending on where you'll be based, we will decide the route, and I will indicate the precise meeting point and time. If you are staying in the Fassa Valley, we can arrange a pick up for you with no extra cost.
Do you I need previous rock climbing experience to book this trip?
Yes, previous climbing experience is desired in order to join this multi-pitch climb. If you never climbed before, I suggest you check some of the via Ferrata or single-pitch trips I offer in the Dolomites: https://www.explore-share.com/mountain-guide/renato-bernard/

Mountain Guide
I was born in 1961, I live in Campitello di Fassa, in the Dolomites, together with my family. I have two sons, one is a mountain guide, the other is a ski instructor. I am a certified mountain guide since 1982, an instructor of guides, alpine ski instructor and a Federal coach for ISEF.
Being in the mountains has always been my passion, guiding people, teaching them climbing, mountaineering... during the various seasons of the year. I very much enjoy drawing nice curves in fresh powder snow and discover the charm of the frozen waterfalls.
My curriculum and professional mountaineering is made of many ascents and some openings of routes in the Dolomites and the Alps. I climbed in Yosemite Valley (California), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Norway, Greece, Spain and Sardinia. I did also several high altitude climbs like Mt Denali (Alaska), Ama Dablam (6828m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Manaslu (8163m), Shivling in India (6545m), Cotopaxi and Chimborazo in Ecuador (5897m and 6310m), Patagonia (Argentina).
Feel free to get in touch with me if you are coming in the Dolomites for skiing (alpine, freeride and ski touring), rock climbing, sport climbing and multi pitch climbing. It will be my pleasure to guide you here and let you discover my secret spots.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
