Description

Climbing Mount Eiger is one of my favorite ascents and I’m happy to take you up there.

I like it because of the panorama we have while climbing and from the top, at 3,970 meters high. The atmosphere is fantastic and the feeling unique while looking at the Mt Eiger North Face. The Mittellegi hut located on the ridge provides you with real mountaineering experience.

I propose here a traverse. We will climb Mt Eiger through the Mittellegi ridge and then go back through l’Eigerjoch and Mönchsjoch. This makes it much more interesting than just going up and down the same way.

The final ascent (day 2) will be a challenging and difficult day. We will be walking up to 10 hours. You should be physically fit and have solid mountaineering experience. You also need to have a good head for heights and some experience abseiling and walking on crampons.

I’ll take only one climber with me. Some of my friends, IFMGA mountain guides as well, would join if you are more than one.

If you wish, we could also spend some days before the ascent training and acclimatizing. This usually increases the success rate. We could climb Monch and/or Jungfrau, 2 good preparation ascents before going for Eiger.

I invite you to contact me if you are interested in this amazing mountaineering adventure. We will then discuss your mountaineering level and create a program adapted to your wishes.

Another option could be this 4-day guided ascent to Matterhorn. Check it out!

Mountain Guide

Attracted by the mountains since childhood, I started with climbing and alpinism. I then discovered my passion for ski touring.
I started a Young&Sport instructor training to lead young people in the mountain, accompanied by guides. This experience inspired me to become a mountain guide, and I got certified in September 2015.
I work in a guide's office with other guides friends as Stéphane, Raphael, Christian and Jean-Luc, mountain leader.
What I love the most: make people enjoy, allow them to discover a region, laughing, everything in a safe way.
So if there's something you wish, if you dream of exploring a region or country, don't hesitate to contact me.
See you soon for new discoveries!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
