Would you like to enjoy an easy, scenic and incredibly fun white water rafting trip in Mexico? Then you’ll love this 2-day adventure along the Amacuzac River in Morelos.

Stretching approximately 15 kilometers, this rafting trip along the Amacuzac River will begin in Cacahuamilpa and go all the way to Huajintlan. The trip is not difficult at all, as the rapids only grade between II and III. Thus making this trip a great opportunity for people of all levels to enjoy. In fact, because of the easy nature of the trip, it is very family friendly, as kids as young as nine can enjoy it. However, it is important that all participants know how to swim. Moreover, the trip is not recommended for pregnant women, people with neck or back problems and people with heart problems.

Morelos is full of natural beauty, and on this rafting trip along the Amacuzac River, you will get to see plenty of it. Furthermore, the area you will be exploring on the raft is located just a few hours away from Mexico City, so it is very easy to get to.

People should bring the following items: Towel Sun cream of at least factor 30 Windproof top Sleeping bag Insect repellent Clothes to sleep in Wash kit Two complete changes of clothes Mountain coat Comfortable shirt and trousers, preferably made of synthetic fibres and not cotton, including jeans. Large bag for your wet clothes at the end of the descent Additional pair of old trainers for use on the water. They will get completely wet. Socks (a few pairs)

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
