Description

The Sierra de Guadarrama National Park is a dazzling national park in Spain. It covers more than 34,000 hectares. And it is the fifth largest in the spanish national parks system.

So it is the perfect location for a day hike adventure. Join me on this unforgettable hiking trip and let’s explore together this natural paradise.

Furthermore, the park is blessed with the hypnotizing views of the Sierra de Guadarrama mountain range. This majestic range is formed in the main eastern area of the Central System, that covers all the Iberian Peninsula.

There are endless paths we can take on this adventure. But all of them offer fantastic sceneries. Some of the places we can explore include Peñalara, the Seven Peaks, Fuenfría Valley or La Pedriza, amongst many other marvellous spots.

Then, the flora and fauna we’ll discover will be simply incredible. During our adventure we can see pine forests, alpine meadows, magnificent granite rock formations, crystal clear water creeks, lagoons originated in glaciers, spectacular mountain landscapes and many curious creatures that inhabit the park.

Our trip welcomes all type of adventurers, from expert hikers to beginners. Thus no previous experience is required. You can even bring babies with a baby backpack. So no one has to miss all the fun!

On top of the guide fee the price includes: 1 hiking tour in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park (4-5 hrs), hiking poles, navigation equipment, route information, first aid kit, accident and civil liability insurance, transportation to and from your accommodation. The price does not include: food and drinks (We offer an optional picnic for 15 € per person, with vegan or special food options upon request), tips & Gratuities.

I recommend to bring the following items: -Backpack . -Mountain/Hiking boots or trail shoes/ Sports shoes. -Mountain wear/Sport wear (according to the season). -Fleece. -Waterproof jacket (windproof/waterproof Gore Tex type). -Warn hat and warm gloves (autumn. winter and spring season). -Sun screen and lip balm. -Sun hat. -Sport Sunglasses. -Mobile phone and camera -Passport/Identification document and personal belongings. -Personal medication. -1,5 L of water and snacks (sandwich, fruit, nuts, energy bars, etc…) per person.
