Description

Welcome to Saas Fee. Welcome to the "jewel of the Alps".

Today I have the pleasure to invite you to live a unique one-day climbing experience, conquering some of the most challenging summits in Saas Fee.

I have planned 3 different tours specially designed for mountaineers with prior experience and a good fitness level. All these climbing tours won't take more than 6 or 7 hours. Here, you can read more about each proposal.

Lagginhorn via its south ridge (4010 m)

It is a physically difficult and technically intermediate ascent. We will start the climb at the Hohsaas Cable Car Station in direction to Lagginjoch.

From here, we must climb over the southern ridge of the mountain until we reach the summit. The round trip takes around 6-7 hours. I can lead a group of only 2 guests. The prices are as follows:

  • 1 person: 815 CHF

  • 2 persons 450 CHF per person.

Weissmies via its North ridge (4023 m)

We'll also start from the Hohsaas Cable Car Station to Lagginjoch. Once there, we'll have to go through the north ridge that leads to the Weissmies summit.

It is a technically and physically difficult ascent, suitable for well-trained mountaineers. I'll take only one mountaineer with me.

  • 1 person: 840 CHF.
Allalin Hohlaubgrat (4027 m)

It is probably the less demanding ascent although it involves an intermediate technical and physical level. We'll take the Metro Alpin to the end of the tunnel, which leads directly to the Hohlaub Glacier.

Then we will continue over the Verfirnten Ridge through the rocks to finally reach the summit. The round trip will take 4 or 5 hours. I will lead a group of up to 2 people. Here below you can see the prices:

  • 1 person: 595 CHF;

  • 2 persons: 320 CHF per person.

If you're taking your first steps in the mountaineering world you can check out some of the easier ascents I also offer in Saas Fee. There are several interesting one-day guided climbs for beginners.

And if you are ready to take on a larger challenge in this region, please get in touch with me and make your reservation. I'll be waiting for your contact!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
