Difficult at points, this 4 day trek traversing the Colorado river will definitely push you. However, the rewards from that difficulty will be a fantastic experience, full of gorgeous landscapes and mesmerizing views.
As a result of the tough nature of this particular hike, it is important that participants are in good physical condition. You should also have some previous hiking experience in a similar environment.
Following the Colorado river, we will trek from the thrilling Tanner trail to the New Hance trail. Along the way you will see an array of sensational slot canyons. Also, don’t be surprised if you spot some of the area’s abundant wildlife either, so definitely keep your eyes peeled. Finally, we will be camping on the beaches of the Colorado River during the nights. Thus giving you a chance to hear the famous river’s current as you sleep, which will doubtlessly aid you in getting a fantastic rest. Why settle for recordings, when you can enjoy the real thing!

Participants should bring the following items with them: 1 liter water bottle, headlamp or flashlight, sunscreen, bug repellent, lip balm, toiletries, hiking shoes or boots, rain gear, cotton and non-cotton layers and hiking socks, warm hat and gloves.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
