Description

Mount Manaslu is located 8,156m above sea level in the Nepalese Himalayas, surrounded by a breathtaking scenery. This is an amazing opportunity to train for climbing the Everest. Join me for this incredible expedition!

As one of the eight highest mountains in the world, “Manaslu” means “mountain of the spirit“. The first ascent of this peak was in 1952 by a Japanese expedition, hence considering it the “Japanese mountain”.

The Nepalese Himalayas are perfect to appreciate the flora and fauna in their natural habitat, which are protected by the Manaslu Conservation Area. This region is home to several endangered animals such as snow leopards, red pandas and birds. During this 35-day program, if we are lucky, we’ll be able to see some of its 33 species of mammals.

As for the ascent to the summit of Mount Manaslu, we’ll be climbing with a enthusiastic and motivated sherpa team, formed by strong local people that we’ll help us along the way.

This expedition is highly recommended for climbers that have already made successful attempts at 6,000 and 7,000-meter peaks, and those that have experience in mixed exposed terrain. A good physical level is also mandatory.

If you have a fierce determination and a burning desire to climb this mountain, this is the trip for you. Send your request! I’d love to be your guide in this incredible adventure.

Mountain Guide

I come from the East part of Nepal, between Makalu (8,470m) and Kangchenjunga (8,586m). I am IFMGA/UIAGM fully certified since 2009.

I have 20+ experience of climbing in the Himalaya. I’ve climbed Mt Everest (7 times), Mt Cho Oyu in Tibet (2 times), Mt Ama Dablam (8 times), Baruntse (2 times), Island peak (15 times), Lobuche (10 times), Pokhalde (10 times), Mera peak (10 times), Mehera peak (5 times), Chulu far east (3 times), Mt Shishapangma until camp 3, Manaslu until 7200m, and Chulu West, Lhakpa ri and other another few more times.

I also have extensive experience of climbing in Europe: France, Italy, UK and Norway (where I work for three months during the summer as a glacier guide).
I'm also a technical mountain rescue coordinator for the 8000's.

It will be my pleasure to guide you through your journey whether for trekking, peak climbing or any mountaineering expedition. Get in touch and let's discuss about the purpose of your trip.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
