Description
Three peaks in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland are in every mountaineer’s dreams. Follow me to climb two of those three: the Monch and Jungfrau on this incredible 2-day adventure.
On our first day, we’ll ride the Jungfraujoch train, Europe’ highest railway. The ride through the North Face of Eiger, the other famous peak in the Bernese Alps, is absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of this trip. We’ll hop off at the Jungfraujoch station, where breathtaking views of the Monch and Jungfrau glacier await us. Then, we’ll climb the Monch glacier, through the South-East ridge. If there’s time, we can also climb the South-West ridge. We’ll spend the night at the Mönchsjoch Hut.
On the second day, we’ll climb Jungfrau through the Rottelsattel Route. We’ll descend through the same route and take the train back to Grindelwald.
This trip is for people with experience in alpine climbing. We’ll be ascending some 45 degree slopes with easy rock. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you!

Mountain Guide
Fede was born in1983 in the Basque Country, northern Spain, where he started climbing and visiting the Pyrenees. After studying Business Management, he finally moved to the Pyrenees to be closer to his passion.
Fede has been working for more than 13 years in the outdoors industry, as a Ski Patrol and AEGM Mountain Guide, Canyon Guide and Ski Instructor.
Nowadays, he is a full-time IFMGA Mountain Guide, sharing with his clients all sorts of activities in the Pyrenees, the Alps, Canada, Norway, Morroco, Peru, and others.
He has lived in both Canada and France, so he will have no trouble in speaking French, English or Italian.
Apart from his private trips with his clients, he also works for several well recognized companies, for the filming industry and writes for specialized magazines, for example:

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
