I offer this awesome guided ascent through the normal route starting from La Dent Blanche mountain hut. The climb is very interesting and diversified. I particularly enjoy it because…
We are surrounded by breathtaking mountains of 4000 meters high during 2 days;
There is some aesthetic rock climbing of high altitude during the climb;
We are roped as soon as we leave the hut;
La Dent Blanche mountain hut which lies at 3507m is very picturesque.
La Dent Blanche (4357m) is a perfect pyramid of gneiss which offers 4 beautiful ridges, at the 4 points of the compass. It is a full part of the imperial crown and it is the symbol of the Val d’Hérens.
This is an AD (assez difficile / pretty difficult) ascent. It requires good acclimatization and a good fitness level. You must have experience in walking with crampons and have done some climbing before. If it’s the first time you come with me or another guide of our team, we should go on a guided climb before so that I can test you and see if you have the level of climbing La Dent Blanche.
I will take one person with me on the rope. If you come with other climbers, I will ask other IFMGA mountain guides from our team to join us.
The best period to climb La Dente Blanche is from early July till mid of September. You’ll find an itinerary below this description.
If you are interested in climbing La Dent Blanche, send me a request! It will be my great pleasure to guide you up there and share with you my passion for the mountains and this awesome valley of Val d’Hérens.
In case you’d like to tackle other challenging peaks around, you can also check out this 2-day ascent to Grand Combin.
We will have 5 to 6 hours hiking from Ferpècle to La Dent Blanche mountain hut (3507m).
We will wake up early, around 4 am, and start walking up to reach Wanfluelücke and the south ridge leading us to the summit. The way up should take us 4 to 5 hours, the way down will take us the same time.

Mountain Guide
Attracted by the mountains since childhood, I started with climbing and alpinism. I then discovered my passion for ski touring.
I started a Young&Sport instructor training to lead young people in the mountain, accompanied by guides. This experience inspired me to become a mountain guide, and I got certified in September 2015.
I work in a guide's office with other guides friends as Stéphane, Raphael, Christian and Jean-Luc, mountain leader.
What I love the most: make people enjoy, allow them to discover a region, laughing, everything in a safe way.
So if there's something you wish, if you dream of exploring a region or country, don't hesitate to contact me.
See you soon for new discoveries!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
