2 Days
Jun - Oct
Do you dream about climbing a 4000- meter peak? Then Le Grand Paradis or Gran Paradiso (4061m) is a great mountain to make your dream come true! Spend two days up high in the mountains, regardless of your level, and enjoy this unforgettable climb, incredible views, great atmosphere in the mountain hut, and beautiful glaciers.
We will set off to the refuge in the late morning of the first day, hike for a few hours through beautiful valleys, and finish our climb to the mountain hut.
The next day we will leave for the summit. After ascending the glacier, we will finish with a small rocky ridge, and go to the top. Happiness, the joy of success, and amazing views of the beautiful Alps will reward our efforts!
There are two ways to climb to the top, either via the Victor Emmanuel refuge or via the Federico Chabod refuge, both extremely friendly and welcoming. We can use the same way to climb and go down or we can do a traverse. This ascent can also be done skiing (ski touring) during springtime.
Contact us if you are interested in this adventure, we will be happy to guide you and show you to the summit of the gorgeous Gran Paradiso!

Aspirant Guide
Since I was a boy I always had a desire to climb, following paved and unpaved roads to reach a peak. My bike took me around the world, exploring remote corners of the Earth. There is a special combination of solitude and beauty that lies in a desert road laid out under two wheels. I started my career as a cyclist, but also in my heart were the mountains and a good dose of self-challenge, with activities like triathlons and ultra distance mountain running.
After a Masters degree in Forestry Science and few assignements around Europe as Lab Manager, I realised that my love for the mountains, outdoors, and the desire to share this world with other people was too strong to be restricted only to the weekends.
Becoming a Mountain Guide was my answer! Living by the outdoors and sharing my passion for adventure. In life we are all faced with tough choices. The decision to train as a guide, to share my knowledge about mountains and help people safely achieve their dreams is reinforced each day with the experience I share with my clients.
We are each unique, in our dreams, experience and ambitions. Every season brings a new opportunity for adventure! Ski touring, freeride skiing or iceclimbing in winter; then, as the snow melts we go to the mountains for mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking and trail running.
Tell me about your ambitions, whether it is a one day, one peak, one face or couloir to a multi-day expedition. I offer customized programs tailored for each of my clients.
Let’s go for an adventure!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
