Chamonix is located in the Haute-Savoie region, in the southeast of France. It is the oldest ski resort in France and a world-famous skiing destination. It attracts mountaineers and skiers from all over the world every year.
This program is a great option if you are looking to enjoy an unforgettable ski touring trip in the Aiguilles Rouges area, which we refer to as the “wild side” of Chamonix. You will enjoy incredible panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Aiguilles Rouges, the Grands Montets, the Argentière and Le Tour Glaciers, and more. Additionally, the program is flexible and can be adapted to the group’s level. Below, you can find a tentative itinerary.
Please note that although we will use lifts to shorten some ascents, you need to be in good physical condition to join. Each day we will spend 2 to 3 1/2 hrs ski touring. Ascents and descents vary from 300 to 600 meters per day. You should also have some prior experience in varied snow conditions and be able to manage kick turns. The group size will be between 5-7 people.
