Bouldering in Fontainebleau, France with a local guide, near Paris

Join me for one or more days in Fointanebleau to experience the best bouldering in the world! Located about 70 km southeast from Paris, Fontainebleau is a bouldering mecca in France,offering options for all abilities, styles and levels.

Come bouldering in Fontainebleau and discover a beautiful forest with unique rock composed of sandstone rock boulders of great quality, thousands of sandstone blocks of amazing shapes, heather plains and woods.

Whether you are a beginner looking to venture yourself into this activity for the first time, or you are just looking to improve your skills, or get a personalized coaching with experienced climbers, we will plan the perfect bouldering trip for you.

In Fontainebleau you will find from small and easier boulders for children and beginners to overhangs, slabs or aretes for a challenging bouldering experience.

The bouldering program takes between 3 to 5 hours. It is also possible to do it by night in the summer, between 8pm and 11.30pm. Also note this activity is suitable for children from 6 years old onwards.

The Fontainebleau forest is home to several thousand blocks and hundreds of circuits of all levels. Block climbing is practiced at low altitude, but intensively. Safety is provided by reception mats, without the use of rope techniques.

We offer different Block Climbing options. It is possible to go block climbing on an Initiation tour, discovering the activity in a fun way, learning gestures, techniques and basic safety. If you already have some experience, you can join an Improvement program. It includes anindividual diagnosis, training, work of specific blocks (gestures, placements, strength, supports, etc). Or you can opt for a Personalized Coaching program with experienced climbers.

We also offer Rappel Initiation (12 meters high, only on the Larchant site) and **Zip-line option (**40m long, on the Puiselet site only).

You could also join us on the exciting Night Bouldering option! A climbing session at sunset is a unique experience, with the landscape and the colors gradually changing with the light and the shadows getting longer. We then light our headlamp to start a climbing session, alone, in peace, completely immersed in nature and in the night, enjoying its silence and magic.

If you enjoy camping, you can join us on our Bivouac Option, spending a night in the forest, under the stars, listening to the night sounds and enjoying sunset and sunrise. This option is only possible at some sites only.
