Description

Ski touring in the Lofoten Islands is definitely an amazing experience! The mix of mountain, sea, ice, granite and snow make this Norwegian paradise one of the most unique ski destinations in the world. So why don't you come and join one of the ski trips I run?

I live in Lofoten with my family and I also have my company here. I guide in the Lofoten backcountry from February, 1st till the end of May. Based in the fantastic Lofoten Ski Lodge, we have quick access to the terrain in Lofoten.

Here are the ski programs that I offer:

But I'm not alone: I work with a group of certified guides. We all have a broad experience in many countries, as well as local knowledge to find the greatest powder snow on the Islands.

I can help you organise the trip of a lifetime! We can arrange a private guided ski itinerary according to the length of your stay. If you are travelling from abroad I suggest you plan a 5 to 7 day ski trip. That way, you'll maximise your time in the area. Besides, you will have the opportunity to truly explore the terrain.

In addition, I can adapt trips to skiers of all capabilities, from first time ski tourers to professional skiers. Lofoten has a lot of skiing for all skill levels!

-We can organize 5-day trips and also 7-day trips. -I'll take 6 clients for intermediate ski tours and 4 clients for more advanced ski objectives. -Upon registration I will send you a complete equipment list. Mid – Fat touring skis around 90-110 under foot work best in the Lofoten POW. I offer rental equipment out of our Shop. I have limited rental gear so please be sure you contact me if you need to rent any equipment well before your trip dates.

Meeting point

We will meet in Lofoten. To get to Lofoten, you can fly into Svolvær with SAS or fly to Evenes with Norwegian or SAS. The cheapest is to fly to Evenes but you'll have to drive for 2.5 hours to get to Lofoten. This is a beautiful drive so if you arrive in the daylight it's a plus.
